The acquisition will allow BBA Aviation to expand its portfolio and strengthen its position as a leading provider of fuel management solutions to the aviation industry.
EPIC Fuels is a well-respected and established brand in the aviation fuel industry, with a strong presence in the United States and a growing international presence. The company provides a range of fuel management services to commercial airlines, military organizations, and general aviation customers, including fuel procurement, fuel storage and handling, and fuel distribution.
The acquisition of EPIC Fuels is expected to be immediately accretive to BBA Aviation's earnings and will significantly enhance the company's fuel management capabilities. It will also allow BBA Aviation to better serve its global customer base by providing a more comprehensive range of fuel-related services.
BBA Aviation CEO Mark Johnstone said in a statement, "The acquisition of EPIC Fuels is a significant step forward in the implementation of our growth strategy and will provide us with a strong platform to further expand our fuel management services."
The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2021.
